The OpticsPlanet Exclusive Elcan SpecterDR 1-4x Sight is a dual-threat optic that provides two unique optics that allow you to navigate both CQB and mid-range situations with precision and speed. Elcan built these AR15 Rifle Scopes from lightweight and rugged hard-anodized aluminum that resists corrosive elements to keep delivering powerful results in harsh environments. With the Elcan SpecterDR Dual Role 1-4x Optical Sight equipped, you can instantly switch from a 4x magnified sight to a 1x CQB sight with the simple throw of a lever. Both sights offer identical, optimal eye relief for comfort, and these units are shockproof to withstand the strong recoil from your firearm. A single CR2032 lithium battery powers this optic for at least 600 hours and lasts for 3,000 hours on average. The Elcan Specter DR scope features an illuminated reticle and red dot for fast target acquisition, even in dark environments. A wide field of view, extended eye relief, and crisp sight picture make this 2-in-1 optic a great choice for a variety of shooting applications. Mount the Elcan SpecterDR 1-4x LED Sight to your MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail to be prepared to take down targets at a variety of distances. This scope is amazing. It's built to last and can take an absolute beating. Working in LE I wanted something that can quickly jump between close range and medium range without the added hassle of flip up magnifiers grabbing my gear or some quickdot that takes up all the real-estate of my top rail. This thing functions as two scopes in one and even includes movable iron sights on the top to make room for another red dot. While it's certainly priced as much as two scopes Ive found NO equal, even my Trijicon ACOG found itself collecting dust after receiving this. The sights are crystal clear and flip easily back and forth between 1x and 4x with a simple pull of a leaver conveniently tucked away under the housing. If you're firm on the principle that "you can't hit what you can't see." You've found a sight worth the price tag.

I have a ton of acogs, steiner, leupold, etc etc. Its got clear glass i like the reticle as far as a bdc goes. Build heavy.. not sure yet if that means tough. The lever throw from 1 to 4 gets ironed out with training. The killflash is more of a hinderence visually than on an acog. Sight is low to bore line so a dbal takes lower half of optic so that changes yer bdal spot to side where it only blocks a third of sight. In red dot 1 power is actually pretty decent. My buddies with glasses hate it. My eye sight is better than my spelling so its fine. Worth the price… maybe. For the money the cross acog in 3.5 still beats it

I was teetering with the idea of buying this for a while now. I pulled the proverbial trigger on it this past Black Friday, and boy, let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Sure, it’s a little heavy, but you can tell this optic can take a beating. I put it on my block 2 clone and I wouldn’t have it any other way. The ARMS mount is convenient and secure but I’m told they have a 2nd generation that you can buy for it. I’d take this over a TA31 any day of the week. The glass clarity is the best I’ve ever seen. And on top of all of this, if you run out of ammo in a gun fight, you can pop the optic off the rifle and beat someone over the head with it. If I could give it 6 stars I would.

A rugged dual power optic, glass is crystal clear. This unit feels like it could survive a drop off the top of a building, and still be functional, minus the obvious physical damage. The option to change the reticle from illuminated to a reddot is very useful.

Although it is a demo, it's basically new and functional. FYI, if you get a demo model, it doesn't specify the blem. Definitely recommend for 1500 bucks if you get the chance to get one for that price.

This is exactly what you need to flex on the poors :D. Excellent optic with amazingly clear glass and fast switch between 1x & 4x. I think it's way better than LPVOs in terms of operation. It sure looks tacticool too! That's all that really matters anyways.
