Rail riser is constructed of T6 6061 hard coated black anodized aluminum. The full 1913 rail is has overall length of 6.25in with 3in of overhang. The riser weighs 3.3 ounces. The aluminum rail lifts the mounting surface up .450in and allows the extension to the front or rear. I bought this because there seems to be a new trend of mounting optics higher than lower 1/3 co-witness on cqb rifles and I wanted to give it a go. Upon receiving the riser, I realized that the cut between the rail and the body is too tight in the rear section so nothing can actually mount to that section of rail. Since I got it to support both an EOTech and a magnifier, this didn't really answer the mail. However, after some dry fire practice, it taught me that I do prefer the heads-up position for CQB and am able to center my optic faster on target.I give this three stars because it is a cheap way to see if heads-up is for you and the mount is sturdy. However, because you only get half a usable rail, this rail gets as close to half the usable stars that I can give it.

Was running the unity set up prior but accepted the fact im not a giraffe. Bought this off the recommendation of some tubers. Fits my Romeo 8T and Eotech magnifier without issue and gives just enough rise that i'm not turtle necking forward or being dependant on a high cheek riser.Nice product for a good price.

I bought this because high riser optic mounts are ridiculously overpriced. This is a simple solution which allows me use of my optic and magnifier or optic and laser/illuminator setup. It fit my micro dot and magnifier perfect and gave me the desired height. My only critique would be to offer qd levers for the riser. Or make one slightly longer for optic+magnifier+laser/illuminator, but that is quite alot of riser.

This thing is just what I needed. It raises my magnifier and optic to approximately 1.93 height and cost way less than other mount options out there.
