I've had this unit for about 6 month's now and I love it. No regrets. The range finder is nice because it is hard to judge distance through any night vision or thermal. I've seen coyotes at 1/2 mile away but you have to pay attention to how they move. For a more positive ID you my be looking at 300 yds.
