If you want to use a micro dot and co-witness your ghost ring sights on your M3000, this is the way. Lower third-ish with the primary arms SLx-md25, looks like it’ll work fine with a Romeo5 as well. Can confirm, Benelli and Stoeger receiver pattern is the same, Scalar actually says this on their site. Perfect fit, finish is great, packaged well. IMO it’s a great design, mounts very low with two screws with the other two keyed in thus giving you a solid mount protecting against the recoil of a shot-gun. So far everything is staying tight and on zero after a couple hundred rounds.

I didn't want a red dot sitting way up high on a picatinny rail as I'm not running night vision, so this is perfect! Lower 1/3 cowitness on my M2 Tactical with the Micro H-2, and the mount seems super-sturdy. Really glad I found this mount!

All in all, high quality product for the Benelli M4 T2 mount. Came with 3 sets of screws and T-10 Torx bit. Co-Witness right on the money in the lower 1/3rd, right where you want it. My only issue is the "shoulder screws", that are mounted to the central section of the Benelli M4 receiver. These are designed so that you "slide" the mount onto the shoulder screws and then fully secure the mount with the two end screws that are accessible from the top. Initially, I fully seated (and torqued to 7-10 NM) the shoulder screws and was not able to "slide" the mount onto the receiver. I had to back the shoulder screws out a 1/4 turn from tight (or so…trial and error) to slide the mount on (and the online instructions annotated this as a "pro-tip"). This concerns me, as I can see these screws coming loose after repeated hammering from the destructive recoil of the 12GA round. They are not accessible once the mount is on and the only way to check them is to remove the whole mount. This is my only knock on the design, or the intended purpose of the shoulder screws. If they do come loose, you will not know it and they will potentially damage the factory threads of the Benelli M4 receiver. Time and inspection will tell.
