This mount is meticulously designed and flawlessly machined. Installation was a breeze. There are 3 sets of screws. One to attach the RMR to the mount. One to insert in the middle two screws of the receiver to act as recoil lugs by slotting in the bottom of the mount. One set for mounting the mount to the receiver. They were kind enough to include the correct bit and provide torque information. The RMR is rock solid and mounted low to the bore. I couldn't be happier.I mounted this to a Stoeger M3K which has the same receiver design as the M3000. Hole spacing was perfect.

The screw pattern fits a tactical model Benelli Supernova (some models are not Drilled) but the included screws are too short. My local hardware store had a selection of gun screws and I was able to mount my Holosun HS507C on it. I contacted Scalar tech support about the screw lengths but they were not interested in supporting the Nova/Supernova Tactical shotguns. With some dremel work on the two middle screws to make them fit the keyhole slots this mount fits very securely and is the lowest mount I could find.

I bought this for my mossberg 590 and the fit was horrible. The install requires you to attach rmr to base, attach two screws to the gun frame, slide the base over the screws and lock, then screw down the base. Screws were very low and did not allow mount to slide over them and lock. I had to loosen the screws a bit so they’d be high enough to catch the base. Probably not a great long term solution.
