As other reviewers have stated, these rings are not meant to contend with the likes of say, a Geissele Super Precision Mount. If you come to terms with this, these are a great set of rings. At the 60 dollar mark, here are some things you should be aware of:* Tolerances are not as tight as higher end rings – as such, lapping is a must. I want to stress this point: After lapping the rings, I honestly felt like they doubled in value.* One set of rail mounting screws did not sink to the same level as the other set (this has no effect on torque/fitment but "may" drive O.C.D.'ers like myself a little bonkers.* When you lap these rings (as with any rings) be sure to not remove too much material.TIP: I had a hard time finding the torque specs for these rings so I called Sig. For those that need this info here ya go:Ring screws: 25 inch pounds (30 max)Base screws: 30 inch pounds (35 max)Enjoy!

These are not HD or super precision scope mounts. That being said, they mounted perfectly, are very stylish, and did the job perfectly mounting a 15 year old bench rest scope. They are a low profile and thinner material at the top. I don't know if they can take a drop or a hit without cracking. That being said, these rings are priced perfectly, and the product by no means is cheap or undesirable. Definitely would recommend for light to medium hunting rifle that need a slightly taller ring stance. I did mount these on 1/2" riser rail on an precision AR platform to keep the 60mm objective lens at a proper height for the AR platform. Make sure you check different model numbers for the rings that will provide the best objective lens clearance for your rifle.

These rings appear to be a good quality built piece of equipment. I have zero doubts about recommending this product to anyone. They are a very good bargain for the money. Very tough finish very unique look I give them four stars

Marked on top with the Sig logo, these are precisely-made steel scope rings. Make sure you select the right height for the rings. With a Sig Tango 4 scope I went with the medium height for an AR setup.

Very nice set of rings for the money . Consistent finish ,snag free design (no sharp edges) , heavy duty recoil lugs , stainless steel construction AND grade 8 torx fasteners. What's not to love . Fit beautifully paired with my Sig optic atop MVP Predator . Stayed tight through 40 round test shoot , held zero and looked good doing it

I called Sig Sauer customer service and asked what rings were best suited for the Whiskey 3 scope I just purchased to my weapon platform. I was told the Sig tactical rings in medium height. Come to find out the 30mm tactical rings dont fit the 1" tube. DUH! I ordered the alpha ring set that fit that was in the right height stated from Sig. Guess what?…WRONG! Talked to the rep at optics planet and they got me a full refund and return number and ordered the right ones in all about the same time that I could have saved $200 on GEICO. FANTASTIC! These people are always helpful and have what I need. Thanks.
