This is a Sig product priced right so I took a chance as it was less expensive than a Holosun which I wanted. It turns out that Holosun is probably the manufacturer of the lens as they both originate in China. Sig supplies 4 different pairs of attachment screws to perfectly mount the sight: Oops, they're all metric and my gun is the new S&W 5.7, American made requiring similar sized non-metric screws. I located the correct screws elsewhere and installed the sight easily. Adjustment of the sight took some fiddling, but it's in a satisfactory state now. The red dot and ring are BRIGHT, so taking a pencil eraser, I could easily depress the dot to an acceptable illumination. It works in stages, ie., you depress the button until it gets to the brightest point and then it automatically goes down in brightness, then at bottom/darkness it goes brighter. I was using it on a new 5.7 which really hadn't been broken in and tweaked to my satisfaction, so i was shooting better and tighter groups with my FN 5.7 of 20 years with iron sights. My new GF who hadn't shot in 30 years liked it, whereas I need more time with it. I gave it 4 stars only because it was missing the non-metric screws, something Sig could easily do for a penny or two.

I got this from Optics Planet and use it on a Gen 3 Glock 22 (.40 cal). I've fired maybe 500 rounds over a few different range days. My mount is not MOS – it is a $20 deal from amaxzon that fits in the rear sight. I was warned that with a .40 and the inexpensive nature of the red dot, that it wouldn't hold zero. It hold zero just fine. This was my first red dot. It came with a small adjustment to how I find my sight picture, but I'm a better shot now. I like the 32 MOA circle with dot in the middle. This thing gets bright. Run the circle on a full sunny day and you have no problem. Like ppl say, it does not have tactile feedback when you adjust and turning the brightness up makes you smudge the glass. You can't do better for the price. It works. It has shake to wake, and makes you a better shot overall. I would recommend if you're on a tight budget.

The Sig Romeo Zero Elite is a nice compact red dot sight. The circle dot makes it easy to find the dot during aiming. The “on-off” button and brightness button is close to the viewing lens so it is not easy to access. The main reason why I purchased this red dot is the low price, made in the USA and the circle dot.

Bought as a gift for my son's Beretta APX A1 Carry. I have the same gun with a Holosun 407K Green dot. Both are good EDC sights. The Sig is a polymer body but with the included shield is better protected, in my opinion. Clarity is better on the Sig. All Holosuns I have used have some loos of definition around the edge of the displays and more of a blue tint. This sight was less expensive and seems like better product. I may be getting one to replace the Holosun on mine. Fast shipping as always from Optics Planet.

I like the added steel OPMOD protective cover that does appear to add additional protection. I really, really like the circle dot reticle over the simple red dot. I think it's now time to consider certain polymers better than aluminum for these sights. Aluminum bends, polymers don't. The only "down" is that you must remove the sight to replace the battery.
