I bought this red dot based on its bigger objective lens. They did a 90 percent great job on this optic. The red dot is a pain to sight in but then holds true. I love how it comes on automatically and shuts off automatically. It’s a good dot. The lanyards that hold the caps on the side of the optic are a pain and don’t work. More aggravating than helpful. They’ve already stretched out and are unusable now. I’ve had this for a few months and have used those adjustment screws maybe 3 times total. So overall it’s good, just could use some refining.

After looking for so many different optics for my AR build I came across this romeo 7 which after extensive reviews I decided to buy, was not a mistake I love that I don't have to turn it off as it turns itself out after sitting for a couple minutes and I loved the covers that came on the sight to keep dust from getting on it while it sits in my safe, lastly I loved that this takes a double AA battery which are everywhere and almost in everything

As I get older it is hard to find optics that work well with my eyes. The doctors say I have 20/20 vision, but have issues reading a book 12 inches from my face (I am sure many have the same issue). I use this optic on an AR and an AK and I keep them closer to the front of the rifle which allows me to help keep my eyes open and see the optic clearly. The distance will vary for all of course. I also like the size of the optic as I look through it.I cannot speak on how well it will last as I am not a professional shooter and I am not very hard on my equipment but if I had to guess, it will hold up well because is is built by Sig.I would not shy away from this optic if you have an interest.

I have been using this product for about 8 months. It is a beautiful piece of equipment. It has stayed perfectly sighted it, target acquisition is perfect, I love that it is power by AA batteries, it goes to sleep when no in use and it ready the second I touch the gun. This red dot is exactly what I was looking for.

Absolutely love this sight! She's a bit chunky but love it! Needs the green dot and triangle reticle in my opinion I have that on one of my Romeo 5 and really really like that I may be swapping out a couple of my Romeo fives for a couple more of these can't say enough excellent product and excellent service from optics planet
