I'm very impressed with BDX scopes. Very nice glass, can be used for zeroed distance without electronics, and the electronics are extremely fast, clear and easy to use,, most importantly they are very accurate. The scope is premium quality, very solidly build and pleasure to hold and operate.

Like the other reviewer my Levelplex was off straight out of the box. Sig has a good warranty so I called them and they sent me a prepaid Fedex label and I dropped it off the same day. The next day they received it, fixed the Levelplex and shipped it back to me. The following day I received it and it worked perfectly (Washington to Oregon and back so that's why it was only 3 days all said and done). Pretty awesome customer service but of course I would've preferred if it worked straight out of the box.So about the scope. I just got it back today and paired it with the iphone app and a Kilo2200BDX rangefinder. That wasn't too difficult. I put some bullet profiles on for a few different types of ammo I have and was testing it by pointing the rangefinder at whatever I could find. Just like the videos the electronic reticle adjusts on its own. Perfect!I'm just getting into hunting this year and I feel much more confident that I'll make a well-placed and ethical shot with the help of the ballistics data being calculated for me.

Scopes with the new BDX systems are a great option for those willing to embrace and understand their capabilities. This is the second one I have purchased and I couldn't be more pleased. Low light functionality is exceptional and in my opinion and the bdx system works flawlessly within its limitations. The only reason I did not rate it a 5 is because I have only used this particular scope for one season and want to see how it holds up before giving it a 5. I have however been using sig optics for 4 years now and have been very satisfied. Their customer service is excellent. They definitely stand behind their products.

out of the box the LevelPlex feature was way off. I started with a bubble level on the turret and turned on the scope and if i used the level indication inside the scope the level was way off. I then hung a plumb bob and checked the crosshairs on the string and looked even worse. Sent back to Sig for warranty.

It does want it’s supposed to do and I was honestly surprised with the glass clarity. The reticle is thick and can cover the point of aim and it’s hefty. The system worked fine for me but it’s better to learn hold overs rather than relying on tech IMO. The main reason I got this was to boost my wife’s confidence and get her more interested in long-ish range shooting and it worked great for that.
