I own many sightmark products and this one is far and away the best scope in their lineup. Fantastic reticle, very simple not too busy. Choices of red or green with etched reticle. Low turrets, easily adjusted and can lock down. Just a great solid optic for a good price and again love the reticle. Almost forgot, you get a free throw lever too.

This unit came in an irresistible package deal a frustrated gun shop owner gave me on a brand new Aero Precision M4E1. Told me the gun sat for close to a year and that he was ready to see it go. "I'll take it!", I said, and off I went with this totally unknown scope mounted on the sweetest AR pistol ever…killer deal. Cool. Went home and started messing around with it and man, I was completely shocked with the quality, the glass clarity, the illumination levels…and the COLORS!! (red/green). Shot the gun a day later and gotta tell ya', this scope was a breeze to adjust and use. Love it when a budget product just kills it. Good job, Sightmark.

Cautiously optimistic entering into the LPVO world (I use dots w/magnifiers), I decided to go with this optic on a deep discount from Optics Planet. I chose this inexpensive optic for a few reasons; I have been pleasantly surprised with SightMark in the past. Affordable while maintaining relatively good quality. After all, I'm not going to Afghanistan anytime soon, so as long as it performs well here in Alabama, I should be good. If it didn't perform well, I wasn't out of too much money and I could sell off or give to a friend. I was worried about eye relief, quick target acquisition for close quarters, the reticle… you get the idea. I decided to go with a high mount in an effort to cut down on some of those concerns. Low and behold, the glass was surprisingly clear, windage and elevation adjustments were pleasantly tactile, the plain black reticle (without illumination) showed up well and I didn't have an issue with the eye relief. It came with a throw lever too which I greatly appreciated. However, I did have an issue removing the battery cap. It is almost welded on it seems or cross-threaded to a point where I will have to damage it to get it off… Other than that, I am pleased with the purchase and it has made me a believer in the LPVO platform.
