Machined from billet steel, each plate is designed specifically to deliver proper optic height for intuitive sight picture and instant target acquisition and features an integral rear sight. Each AOS plate ships with screws to mount the plate to a 1911 DS handgun. I’m assuming optic plate will fit perfectly. I’d like to comment on service by Optics Planet. I ordered plate in February and it was out of stock everywhere, including Springfield Armory. Two months later the plate came back in service at over twice the price. Without saying a word, OP filled my order at the original price. That’s customer service deluxe. Thank you OP.

This optics plate has almost never been in stock. Pre ordered March due for delivery in July. Somehow my order got cancelled in June right as they tripled in price. OP customer service sent me out one at my original order price right when I called.
