Counting ounces? Why sacrifice durability for a lightweight mount when Freedom Mount has both? Made with ultra-tough 7075 aluminum, this rugged masterpiece still weighs in at just 5.5 ounces. Freedom Mounts cantilever configuration extends the center of the forward ring 2in beyond the front edge of the 1913 Picatinny mounting surface, making it perfect for LPVOs with generous eye relief, like Tomahawk and Arrowhead. Low profile T25 Torx bolts provide more clamping power than thumb nuts, while integrated recoil lugs underneath ensure everything stays locked down tight under recoil. Freedom mount brings the look, the ergos and the durability your build deserves Specifications for Swampfox Freedom 30mm/1.6in Light Cantilever Mount: Manufacturer: Swampfox Color: Black Finish: Anodized Matte Fabric/Material: 7075 Aluminum Base/Mount Type: Picatinny Height: 1.6 in Weight: 5.5 oz Distance Between Rings: 30 mm Features of Swampfox Freedom 30mm/1.6in Light Cantilever Mount Scratch Resistant Hardcoat Finish T10 Star ring cap screws: 10 inch-pounds torque T25 Star ring cap screws: 40 inch-pounds torque Forward offset: 2in From Front of Mount to Centerline of Front Ring Package Contents: Swampfox Freedom 30mm/1.6in Light Cantilever Mount S-Wing Wrench UPC Sticker Color Box S-Wing Logo M3.5 Screws – 8 pcs T10 Wrench

This mount not only looks good but functions perfectly as well. It pairs well with Swampfox’s off set red dot mount as well.

Everything fit perfectly. I had no issues. Just make sure you get the right size and you should have no problems. I like the design of this mount.. and that’s why I bought it. I wish it was a QD mount but it still is worth the money to me.

I purchased the SWAMPFOX ARROWHEAD LPVO 1-10×24 rifle scope for my AR10 because I needed more magnification at both short and long distances. However, I am 81 years old and my vision will be different from others using this particular scope, so that should be kept on mind. I prefer the black reticle over the red and believe the green would have been better due to the fact that the center dot is more visible. Since I do not shoot beyond 100 to 150 yards the magnification is more than adequate. I primarily target shoot and shoot less in a hunting situation because of thick woods cuts down on the need for a high level of magnification. Last but not least, the weight of the scope is not a burden when aiming the rifle. It would also make an excellent scope for the AK rifle due to its lighter weight. I am not as influenced concerning the Swampfox Freedom cantilever mount, but it does serve the purpose just fine. It is my understanding that the scope is manufactured in China and that is a bias on my part and has nothing to do with how well the scope works for me or may work for other people.
