Wanted to go a different route than my usual Vortex or Burris. Really didn't expect it to be as good as it is. Glass is right on par with higher end Vortex, but turrets are far better on the Swampfox. Made a perfect optic for an 18" grendel project.

Swampfox makes awesome stuff, very well built dependable optics. Nice bright reticle illumination, crisp solid audible clicks on the turrets, Very nice glass!! I put this one on my custom built KIDD 10/22 and lets just say no critter is safe…

Took a gamble and bought this scope. The company has not been around a long time but they have good folks working there and great designs. The glass is very good quality for the money. I am clearly able to see 223 hits on a black steel 10 inch plate at 550 yards. I mounted mine on a competition AR I built and have been very pleased with it. The illuminated reticle is good, the turrets track well, clicks are tactile and and tight. The marks actually line up as you spin them. The magnification ring is smooth and firm. The MOA marks are nice. Eye box is wide at all magnifications, and the FFP keeps POI the same regardless. Eye relief could be a bit more forgiving but is fine for my purposes. The adjustable parallax is a must for competition I think and really helps at longer distances. The included accessories are a very nice touch and I have compared it side by side to other scopes that cost much more and find it to be every bit just as good.

Straight up, I love Swampfox optics. I own several. This one is no exception, but I will be honest about its downfalls. Great glass, image, clarity and features for the price point. The only thing that I've struggled with is the super-fine central dot on the MOA reticle. It's very difficult to find on darker targets. However, the horizontal and vertical crosshairs do some in handy when you can't pick out that central dot. The illumination is also less than anything to brag about. I actually wish they would've just focused the illumination on just that hard to find central dot instead of the extended "Christmas tree". Still, for this price, I'm completely satisfied. Love what Swampfox is doing.
