Swampfox was the choice for me bc it offered a 4x16x44 when most in the same price range offered 4x14x44. The floating dot mil reticle is very nice and the turrets are crisp and look cool compared to most simplistic designs. The glass is clear especially for swampfox's lowest teir. You kinda get it all with this scope if you dont care about no illumination and not having top teir glass. Im super happy with this purchase. Great bang for your buck.

This is my 3rd Swampfox product. Everyone of them has been an absolute excellent purchase!!! I am fan!! They are all high quality and VERY CLEAR. Very comparable with some $500-$600 models. The scope comes with 2 different size throw levers and a 3” sunshade. Also has a large cleaning towel and flip covers!!! Like the title says it really is a great value. I also am a fan of the reticle lots of info to use. Swampfox has a 50,000 shot warranty which goes by the honor system, so for all intensive purposes is a lifetime warranty. If you are on the fence… just buy it!!!!

Based on the price of this scope I was sorta hesitant, but I really wanted to try it out. So first things first the glass is super clear and seems to be well constructed. The eye relief and eye box are perfect for me and the way I have my rifle set up. Second of all, the over all construction of this swampfox patriot is amazing and robust. Been shooting my rifle out to 600 yards every weekend and it hits the mark just like a good scope should allow me to do without much effort. The 4×16 was a perfect choice for me and my rifle. 100% will recommend to someone wanting a good long range scope for a good price. Also with a 50,000 round warranty to back it up in case anything goes wrong helped out with ease of future use.

The reticle in this scope is very fine and hard to see at lower powers

First impression is good, the scope design looks great, the glass is very clear. But for practical use, i immediately put it right back in the box and printed a return label. The immediate Reason why i couldnt see myself keeping this scope, being a FFP the reticle almost disappears completely at 4x magnification, definitely not ok for hunting with. even target shooting its so incredibly small its not useable, i have good eyes but this just didnt work for me. if you plan on shooting long range only, id suggest get a 6-24x as this isnt usable in lower magnification. Another thing i didnt like was the turrets, they dont "click" into each position as most other scopes do. They have alot of movement between clicks, they actually move back and forth a full 1/2 moa before an audible click. almsot like the design is based on the wheel of fortune, it doesnt click until youve gone passed your desired mark.i just think theres much better options out there for this price range. with more features.

Overall the scope seemed to be durable and well made for the price. Turrets clicked ok, not much play. Zoom and optics were pretty clear. Only deal-breaker was the fine reticle. Could barely see it at lower powers. Decided that it wouldn’t suit my primarily hunting needs so returned it. Probably better suited for range shooters. Over worth the money though if it’s your cup of tea.
