The Talley Fixed Ring System evolved from the Talley Quick Detachable System. This ring set-up is for the shooter who prefers the sleek profile of a non-detachable vertically split ring. It is subject to the same quality control as all Talley Products. Using larger screws and no moving parts, this system is as rigid as it looks. Utilizing the same double recoil shoulder base as the detachable rings, the fixed ring system will aslo stand up to the most brutal of magnum cartridges. ***Designed to fit Talley Bases DOES NOT fit on a Picatinny Rail Specifications for Talley Fixed Ring: Manufacturer: Talley Ring Quantity: Pair Condition: New Weight: 4 oz Package Contents: Talley Fixed Ring

Ordered the medium height rings with Talley bases for my Sako 85 Finnlight in 7mm Rem Mag to mount a 4-16×50 scope. Getting the scope situated wasn't as easy as the Sako Optilocks but it works great and clearance is right. The people at Talley were very responsive and helpful to questions on correct height rings/bases.

They are not cheap but they are solid and fit and finish is excellent. These are two piece rings so read instructions for proper order on tightening/torqueing so that they will be firmly attached to base and have good even pressure on scope. I have two sets of these and mounted them to Talley mounts/bases so not sure if they would work with any other mount/base type. Holds zero perfectly on lightweight 45-70 and 30-40 krag single shot rifles. Scopes are weaver 1-3×20 for 45-70 and Leupold 2-7×33 for 30-40 krag. Talley and DNZ are my go to companies for scope mounting.

Very positive clamping ring.(full contact w/dove tail base). Comes in three different heights. .100 thousands increments. Due too my new scope having a big diameter eye piece my bolt handle would not clear the scope. Had to go up a size in ring height. .100 thousand increments works out great, enough height for clearance issues without having your scope way too high off receiver.

Purchased these Scope Rings as an alternative to the Sako Optilock scope mounting system. I have Talley rings on another rifle and have been very happy with their performance. These rings along with the Talley mounts on my Sako Model 85 give me confidence in a rock solid scope mounting system. I will purchase this scope mounting system on future rifle purchases.

They were mounted on a L61 Sako action chambered in 358 Norma Mag so there is a good deal of recoil. I love the feel and the mounting system of the top and bottom screws. So far (40-50 rds) have had no issue. Happy
