I started a rebuild on a Remington 7600 carbine. I ordered the rail to change out my optics. Was looking for something that gave me more options. Easy to install. Adapts to any Picatinny style accessory. Worked great. Shipping was fast. This was exactly what I needed.

This rail was not for ultra long range shooting, but to fix the shoddy quality control that Remington had in the last few years they produced this rifle. The fit from the receiver to barrel wasn't perfectly straight and the 2 standard scope rails I tried previously had the scope looking at the sky. I also read on a forum about a fellow who had the same issue with his 750 and he sent it back to Remington to get it fixed and they fixed it by bending the barrel(!) so I chose not to go that route. Yes, I could adjust the heck out of the scope and make it work, but it always bugged me and the scope looked weird not being exactly in line with the barrel. This rail being offset by 20 MOA ended up being just what I needed to fix my issue. I'm glad because otherwise the rifle functions flawlessly and is light and very accurate. I'm quite happy someone made this rail for this rifle. It is sad that a company as old and well known as Remington got to this point though.
