Signature Series Scope Rings are machined from chromoly steel and pass all factorials necessary for reliability and strength. Their oversized clamping surface will accommodate any manufactures Picatinny rail. The stepped design gives the shooter the ability to remove and install the ring quickly and easily especially during fast action shooting. Their unique and color coded vernier ring point allows shooters to quickly and easily adjust the ring to zero or hold above center when shooting from behind a barricade or while under stress. Their unique geometry also allows shooters to tighten them only in one position (side or front) without shifting the scope forward or rearward. This also prevents the infamous “double ring” problem in which the Rifle Scope ring catches on the ring or mount securing the Rifle Scope in place. TALLEY is my first and last choice! All my rifles have TALLEY gear on them. I won't hunt big game in Idaho without TALLEY gear. The quick release rings make for easy exchange of optics within my short action and long action rifles and are always on zero after the remounting!

Bad design, as soon as you loosen the lever far enough to remove from the rail, the screw usually falls out, and then you have have to reassembly it. Heavy duty rings just don't work well for quick detachment, permanent install would be fine.

Used these guys on my Marlin Dark Series 45-70 build with Vortex Strike Eagle. Slim steal construction contours perfectly on the Marlin pic rail. Torqued top screws to 18in lbs, shooting LEVERevolution 45-70 325g FTX and Subs. Solid hold – perfect set up!
