I was a bit skeptical about spending this much, but based on my research, seemed like a good investment. I went with the green horeshoe which is a personal preference.Optics are very clear and everything to expect. The windage and ballistic have worked well too. I use this scope for coyote hunting. Would definately buy again.Pros: Ballistic Reticle, GREEN!Cons: Price

ACOG came as promissed in very sturdy reclosable case like a pelican case. Mounting on AR rail very quick and sure. Height was fine but not adjustable.Zeroing easy after taping Fiber optics to reduce brightness. BDC accurate out to 300 yards, haven't tried farther yet. Round selection will matter.Top quality as this will be my second ACOG and love the first one.Horeshoe reticle with horizontal and verticle lines is a fast and accurate choice. Glad I chose this one.Pros: Durable, Quality Contruction, Ease of use, No Batteries, Dual illumination- fiber optic and tritium, holds zero, auto adjusting brightness, BAC is a must, perfect magnificationCons: Mounting dated, no height adjustment on mount, Not night vision usable with tritium being too bright, no manual brightness other then tape fiber optics

This is my 2nd Acog. Have one for my .223 as well. With the horseshoe reticle, target acquisition is even quicker than my older model with the triangle reticle. Clarity is great for the 400-500 shots. It becomes a part of the rifle.

This is my 3rd ACOG, which I think is one of the finest scopes available. Target acquisition is very quick, clarity is excellent. The included description on ranging is very clear and easy to understand, which leads to the "quick to acquire" the target. I have both the horseshoe and triangle reticles and that choice comes down to personal preference.

Amazing optics from this scope. The numbers on the mil dots/hash marks are very small so if you have old eye be forewarned. (once you know what they say its less of an issue but even then they are a bit small) Other than that I sighted it in, and only took 5 rounds to do so. Glass is clear as day and you can tell why these scopes are as pricey as they are.

I'm used to running an EoTech with a tripler while I served in the military for 10 years. Upon getting out, I ran an LPVO on my AR platform. I liked the thought of not having to run out of batteries in a worse case scenario, however, an LPVO still requires a scope mount and is still relatively fragile. I don't think you will see anyone willing to drop their LPVO without feeling their heart break. So, ultimately I was still searching for the ultimate, do everything optic while maintaining the end of the world durability scenario. I decided to try this guy out. First time ever using an ACOG, especially this 3.5×35 version. And all I can say is wow! It is extremely light weight compared to my LPVO set up! It is tough as nails, probably the toughest optic you can get besides iron sights. And it takes ZERO batteries! The eye relief is absolutely doable. It's not an LPVO or a red dot, but I can still go from low-ready/ high ready and get a round off in a second. And I can engage targets instantly couple hundred meters away. Fast, Durable, Light weight. I'll use this for the rest of my life.
