Really great product from Trijicon to cover a different application.I run a RMR on my carry gun and love it. The design that makes it so rugged though makes it a small window compared to other options. But seeing everything is more important than ultimate ruggedness at a match or competition. That's the reason for the SRO.A larger window and deep housing gives a "tube"-like orientation feedback making it nearly impossible to "lose the dot".Can't run irons forward with the SRO but again, not a "duty" optic like the RMR. I don't even have iron sights on my gamer gun.So glad they offer this is 1MOA too. It is the best. Now I have a pistol optic optimized for a specific application on each of my guns.

The SRO is another example of an excellent Trijicon American Made quality product. The window in large and the glass is clear. The crisp and precise 2.5 MOA red dot is the best in the industry. I have mine mounted to a Staccato P DPO, and it is the perfect compliment to a great pistol.

It is very expensive. I don’t know why. Then you have to buy a $100 adapter to get this to work on your pistol. I hope it has a lifetime warranty.

Absolutely love the SRO, coming from a guy who hates RMRs, so happy to finally find one at a price i could live with. I started with it mounted to a Glock, quickly learned that was like a ferrari engine in a chevy blazer. Currently on Canik TP9 SFX until CZ Shadow 2 compact arrives.

I researched various red dot sights. I watched countless YouTube videos on advantages and disadvantages of multiple red dots. I will say If price is a driver the Holosun is a great choice for less than half the price ($230ish) is a good buy. However I am very happy with the SRO and was willing to pay for it.-large field of view, I never struggle to find the dot and see the target. -while the pictures look like an Amber window it is a pretty clear window to the eye when using it. -8 brightness settings most flexible red dot out there. My only question was should I get the 2.5 or 5.0 MOA. I went with the 2.5 and so glad I did. My normal shooting range is 10-25 meters (yards). With the 8 levels of brightness you will find your sweet spot. I can use it for longer distances if needed which the 5.0 wouldn’t be able to do. Using a red dot over iron sights is almost like cheating to improve accuracy. No squinting shooting with both eyes open. Only focused on the target, no longer balancing target and iron sight focus. If technology allows me to be a better shot I’ll take it.

Anyone who claims this red dot stopped working after less than one mag, (not naming names), is either A) a liar, B) bought a knockoff, C) didn’t really buy one and just reviewed for attention or D) A LIAR!!!!! (I know I said that one already. Just had to hammer it home.)Trijicon doesn’t make junk. Just because someone can’t afford something doesn’t mean they have the right to trash a great product. These SRO red dots are accurate, tough and crisp. Best on the market. A “just as good” guy might tell you his tru glo is better but, it’s not. Just relax, & buy the SRO.
