i did not buy this scope at optics planet. i found online at academy sport. it was on sale for $99! regular price was $169. (cheaper here now) shipped to my house for $105 something. i normally dont give 5 star ratings to anything. i own several $900plus scopes, and i dont consider any of them perfect. that being said, because of the price i paid and the clarity of reticle i gave it 5 stars. mounted on 270 with no problems . everyone knows the recoil of a 270. bdc is easy to see and eye relief is great. i have paid $170 for scopes that weren't of this quality. well worth what optics is asking

I purchased a Truglo Nexus from Academy during hunting season last year and I had scopes on all of my rifles and I had given my backup scope to my Uncle to mount on a rifle he had purchased I just happened to cross paths with the nexus at academy on sale for a great price looked through the glass and purchased it glass was nice 4-12 by 44 it sat on top of my gun case till recently and I purchased a walnut Mossberg Patriot 270 and mounted the nexus on it and bore sighted it went to the range and it took 8 shots to zero it in at 2 inches high at 100 yards glass is very clear tracks perfect was so easy to zero I hunt with different scopes Bushnell vortex tasco yes tasco my first brand I ever purchased with my own earned money and they have been good solid scopes throughout the years and I still currently use them on two of my rifles.Im so so impressed with the Nexus Tru Glo it tracks glass is great holds zero picks up light for the price I paid by far my best scope purchase ever I seeking one more nexus scope 5 stars 169$ got it on clearance for 50 bucks
