I like the vivid red and green dot that has adjustable brightness. That is useful more often than I would have thought. The only issue that i have had is that in very bright conditions the sight window is very reflective and difficult to see through. I have to just take it off to shoot trap, and I think that might take it out of being zeroed.

——————————-OVERVIEW——————————-I received this RDS from TRUGLO in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. Secondly, I have purchased several TRUGLO products; from Iron Night Sights, Red Dots, and Scopes prior to receiving this product so I have experience with several of their products as an actual consumer. This review is on the TRUGLO TG8370B Red Dot Sight w/ Single Reticle. The TRUGLO TG8370B is a "reflex" style RDS with a very wide FOV (Field of View) with a larger 5 MOA Red/Green Dot for faster target acquisition. The TRUGLO TG8370B comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.——————————-BUILD QUALITY & MOUNTING——————————-Keep in mind, this is a budget-friendly RDS, not an upper echelon RDS like EOTECH, AIMPOINT, etc. For the price amount of this RDS, do not expect it to hold up and be as durable as those optics. With that in mind, overall the build quality is good. I no real qualms with it as I don't run, fall, crawl, dive, dip, dodge into mud or any sort of terrain that would require me to have a top of the line optic. I simply use this an AR Pistol for recreational use both indoors and outdoors; nor have I dropped my AR Pistol purposely or accidentally to see how the optic holds up.The TRUGLO TG8370B is very lightweight with a compact design that isn't considered "micro" nor is it too large and cumbersome or smaller rifles, shotguns, etc. I have it mounted to a self-built AR15 10.5" Pistol and it does not overwhelm the rifle with it's size which is great. The TRUGLO TG8370B comes with an Integrated Weaver-style mounting system so a separately purchased mount is not needed by any mean. It is ready to go. For the price, I really like this RDS for rec use and would recommend it based off my actual experience with it.——————————-ZEROING & STAYING TRUE——————————-I've zeroed several optics and RDS' in the past and was easily able to zero in the TRUGLO TG8370B in 5-7 rounds. The Elevation and Windage adjustments are crisp and I can feel each individual click which is nice, considering the price of this optic. One click of elevation or windage moves the Point of Impact (POI) approximately one MOA (1” at a distance of 100 yards, or 3/4” at 75 yards, or 1/2” inch at 50 yards, etc.).After firing several hundred rounds through my AR Pistol, storing my AR, traveling with my AR, then heading back to the range, the The TRUGLO TG8370B has stayed true to it's zero and I have not had to adjust it from my original zero at 100 yards.——————————-WINDOW, RETICLE, & BIRGHTNESS——————————-The "reflex" window is a wide 24mm x 34mm, uses a 5 MOA reticle pattern for fast target acquisition, and is equipped with anti-reflection coating. Per TRUGLO the TRUGLO TG8370B RDS has been carefully set to have a minimum parallax at 30 yards. At distances significantly greater or less than this distance, some parallax will be observed so don't be alarmed if this is the case. While there is only one reticle pattern choice, which is 5 MOA in size, there are two color choices for the reticle, red and green. Each reticle color has 5 levels of brightness; from 0-OFF, to 1-lowest through 5-highest. While I was at the indoor range, I find 1 or 2 brightness plenty sufficient for use, and when I was at an outdoor range during a non-overcast, bright day I found 4-5 plenty sufficient in brightness.

I was prepared to spend a few hundred dollars on a high quality sight, if this one didn't work, but I was plesantly surprised.I use this sight for steel challenge and it works very well. Normally for these events, most shooters use an 8MOA or bigger dot, but the 5MOA on this one works very well for me. Most bullseye shooters use a 2MOA dot, but again, this one works well, as I can shoot groups of 1 inch or less, off a sandbag at 25 yards with good quality ammunition. Keep a good battery in it and it's bright enough for a sunny day at the of shooting.Pros: Good brightness, holds zeroCons: None

Save your money for a 200 dollar sight that works.Pros: Cheap easy to install fun optic.Cons: Every time I go to shoot I have to re-zero this thing. It's a little ridiculous.
