So, I just received this optic 2 days ago, and I haven't had the chance to shoot it yet (I will come back after and report back). Also, the day I got it we had a very gray day, with snow showers and very little sun, so I wasn't able to see how the illumination held up to bright sunlight, although I suspect it will be fine. On that note, the horseshoe reticle is what lights up and it was plenty bright enough inside a home. The 1x magnification is exactly that, there is no fish eye effect from the optic and with both eyes open things appear as they are, rather then having any distortion around them. There is almost no difference from field of view to past the edge of the optic. The zoom lever is tight right out of the box, and seemed to slightly loosen with a little use, so I think it will loosen up a little more use. How much it loosens up I have no idea, hopefully I can report back here with a little more use. Right out of the box, the optic felt like a quality piece. It was heavy, but not like junk heavy, but robust, and it wasn't to heavy. My scale had it at ~16.5 oz with mount. The only thing I didn't like so far is that the reticle seems small. But I can't complain on this as I haven't shot it yet. I plan on taking it to the range soon, I'll report back with an update. So far, I'm very surprised with the quality of this optic.

This optic is great. I was looking at a bunch of optics and this is the best bang for dollar. Clear glass, reticule is very clear, has 50-600yrd hash marks, get very bright. Also has the added adjustment turrets which for me was a done deal.

This is a great little scope for the money. I use it in a 16” carbine. It’s super easy to sight in and use. I suggest this for any application. It’s a great price and the glass is pretty clear. Seem to hold zero we’ll

This is a great scope for any AR. It is bright and clear and very solid. And it is illuminated. I would definitely recommend this scope for anyone looking to put an optic on your AR. I really Ike the reticle. It's fast and easy to pick up, while not cluttering up your view. At 1-4x it is perfect for in between ranges that require a little more precision than open sights. Definitely a great scope.

I ordered this 3 months before it finally arrived. I wish companies would upfront whether they had the item in stock. But, I like the scope, mounted now on a lever action .44 mag and it is much easier to use than the iron sights.

Not everyone has 1000 bucks to drop on an optic and so far this has held up very well. Glass is super clear and easy to get on target. I put it on my m1a. Slapped it on my ar just to see what it was like and if you have a fixed front sight it’ll get in the way. Unless mounting it on top of a carry handle etc. overall really good for the money
