I only have a couple bad things to say. The mount on MINE (the exact one I got) was garbage. The front picatinny screw was drilled in too high, to where it's BARELY biting the picatinny rails to hold it in place. The rear one is fine, but the front screw is so high it's almost not touching my rail.Aside from that, the quick throw lever is on a ring and if you're doing really fast transitions, sometimes you can pull back on it and it will come loose. I'm not a big fan of THIS type of throw lever. I prefer one that screws directly into the twist ring, like the Atibal and others. The caps are garbage. They're almost like soft plastic. I took mine off after one day.The scope, itself, however, is surprisingly good for the price. The glass quality is fair (not bad), the eye relief at 8x isn't bad either. This thing is definitely not a $1000 scope. It's worth the money, though, because it has held zero through at least 500 rounds now. I bought the TruGlo Green Dot offset to go with it, and it is a nice pair. Overall, I have about $2500 in my rifle, and this is definitely a decent scope to have on it. I'd love to go with nicer glass in the future, but for now, it definitely gets the job done. I've reached all the way out to 600 yards with it and hit a 10×12 target at 600 yards 2/5 times consistently. The reticle is very nice. The brightness is definitely daylight bright. I like the capped RE-ZERO-ABLE turrets. I like that you can go straight to 11 or build up slow. At daytime, I use 11. During night, I use 3 or 4.I wanted to get into the LPVO game cheap before I invested money into a nice pair. My brother has the SwampFox ArrowHead and I like his a lot better, even though it is about double the price of what I paid. I think I am going to try the ArrowHead next, because I like that it has a Green BDC Reticle.Overall, I would recommend this scope for someone looking to get into the LPVO game. If you're looking for higher quality, try the ArrowHead SwampFox. It's worth the extra money.

I have the Omnia6 and I like it. Thought I'd go the extra hundred and get the Omnia8 1-8x Bad Idea. If you shoot off a bench it would do. The eye box at 8x … you are not going to hand hold it. When it is in-line it is sharp and crisp … but that is going to require a lot of skill on your part. I think I'll be using the mount on another scope.

As for the review about not touching the pic rail, it’s designed like that. There’s nothing wrong with it. The hole was no drilled to high. This is a awesome optic and mount for the money . The eye relief is great too. Glass is crystal clear. Awesome finish on scope and mount.

Has held zero through dismounting and remounting as well as about 500 rounds now, has a nice clear picture even at 8x. As stated in a previous review, yes picture is a little wobbly at 8x but it is a quality in every scope that the higher the magnification the more still you’re going to have to hold to shoot accurately. Obviously is holds perfectly still when shooting off a bench or bipod. This is the cheapest place to find this optic too. Great LPVO for the money, reaches out to 400 yards no problem on 8x. 600 takes a little skill (for me anyways) but others may have no problem with it. Higher quality optic than any other within this price range.

I am completely impressed with Truglo products overall. They offer great products at very nice price points and this optic is no exception. This optic gives you near true 1x with no edge distortion to very decent zoom at 8x. The reticle is outstanding and very useful marking out and ranging some very common targets like 12" plates to the typical human figure. The illumination is bright enough for broad daylight, unlike many others in the price point. Comes with a mount and zoom throw lever which are always nice bonuses. This is one of the only "budget" optics that I haven't felt the need to exchange.

Good glass. Accurate elevation and windage adjustments. Forgiving eye box. Seems fairly sturdy. Illumination is pretty good.
