Bought this scope to use on my Pardner 20 gauge slug shotgun. This scope can handle the recoil. After 5 shots the scope was zeroed in. Came back a week later and is still hitting bullseye. Would recommend this scope for anyone on a budget.

This scope is a fairly good scope at a good price. When it says eye relief is 4 to 4.9 inches, it means it. At 3.9 inches and 5.1 inches the sight picture shrinks to 85-90% of the lens and graduates to less with each increment of farther or nearer. While 4-5 inches makes sense for a shotgun scope, I can't see the need 4X magnification at Turkey distances. Now, why read carefully? The heading on the ad read "1X trueglo Shotgun Scope". My bad for not paying enough attention to all the specs under the picture! The review page will not let me say yes and no to the recommend question.

Great scope for the $ I have this scope on a bunch of my firearms. Easy to sight in and I like the diamond retical good quality rings are included. Mounts right up to your picitinny rail of scope base
