FAST is a series of optic mounts and platforms that provide end users with a quicker sight picture than standard height mounts. The FAST Micro Mount creates a 2.26in optical center line from the rail and provides faster/easier dot/reticle acquisition while wearing night vision goggles, gas masks, plate carriers, and other gear. FAST mounts allow for more rapid visual processing of the battlefield by promoting a heads-up posture. The FAST Micro-S Mount is specifically designed for the Aimpoint CompM5s, CompM5b, and Duty RDS mini red dot sights. It puts these taller micro sights at the established FAST height and is fully compatible with the entire line of FAST Magnifier Mounts. The FAST Micro-S Mount can also be fitted with a Quick Detach Lever (sold separately). Amazing mount, shipping was what can be expected from Optics Planet. Not bad at all from purchase to receipt of product. Goes great on my M6IC. Very high quality parts from unity as usual. I recommend this if you're wanting to run the Unity flip to center magnifier mount or just as a solo red-dot mounting option.

This mount is great for people who wants a tall mount, but not so tall like the unity mount. Only con is that it doesn't co-withness with irons.

I do wish the integrated iron sights somehow fit on here but I get it. Excellent mount nonetheless the less for the aimpoint duty rds

Paired it with the Aimpoint Duty RDS for a more heads up aiming. Would recommend this mount if using in conjunction with the Unity FTC magnifier mount. It is a taller mount so co-witnessing is not possible. It can be used with other T2 footprint optics if you’re not wanting a 2.26” height.
