The Valiant Lynx series is suitable for all weapons without limitation of caliber. The main tube is made from a one piece, which guarantees sufficient quality. Lynx 3-9×40 got a new green lens coating for even higher light transmission. The smallest model with variable magnification of the Lynx series has a zoom ratio of 3-9x and a lens size of 40mm. This model is worthy of all weapons without limitation. The Lynx is suitable for a medium distance shooting. Adjustable parallax is from 10yds. Vertical and horizontal rectification is through open low turrets. One click is 1/4 MOA per 100yds. The main reticle for this model is the 24x Mil-Dot. You can zero the turrets by loosening the stainless steel screw. On the left-hand turret you can find an illumination correction for shooting in lower visibility. The shooter has a choice of eleven degrees of red color. Thanks to the large scale there is no unpleasant red coloring. The battery is not included in the package and should always be purchased. A suitable battery is the CR2032. Diopter correction is also adjustable in the range of + – 2 diopters. This is my second valiant scope, so far they're great very well made. I am currently using it on a Russian SKS 7.62×39 , the scope is rock solid , very smooth to handle. Definitely will continue buying their scopes.

I will say that the look and feel of the scope are excellent as are the adjustments. However I couldn't get it to come to a decent focus. The reticle is sharp but the image looks smudged especially if you use a high contrast target like an orange dot on a black background. It looks like a fuzzy smudged blob. I'm guessing i just got one with a bit of a lens defect, so it's going back to OP. Not sure yet if i will try another one like this or go with a different brand.

Great scope, the price makes it even better. I have a few more expensive scopes, but I have come to prefer Valiant optics. For much less the primce you get a scope that in my opinion is at the same quility level from my Trijicon, Vortex, scopes. Far better overall.
