I haven't mounted this scope yet, but I have no doubt that it will perform exactly as I wish on my MMR Pro 224 Valkyrie. Can't wait to get the rifle on paper. We're covered up with feral pigs in North Texas, and I feel certain that I made a good choice in the Hog Hunter. With the quality of Vortex and the unlimited and unconditional warranty I feel certain and confident that I will have no problems. I'm gonna mount the scope to rifle today, and I will be happy to respond to any comments regarding this optic. I'm using a Monstrum H-Series offset Hollow Mount. Everything i need to get the job done with all the adjustment i need. Vortex have brite adjusment so adjust to the eye lights outdoor. Also you can present your how many yards you adjust it at. It doesnt hurt your eyes at all.

I’m waiting on my second one now from Optic planet ,cheaper, after trying the one that I bought from local sporting goods , second focal plane, I get it but put up against my arken in low light much easier to see reticle and could see past sunset ,just barely light of setting sun on horizon, 30 yards further into woods clearing 80 yards

I bought this scope to correct the problem of being unable to see where my crosshairs intersect on a black hog using black reticle at night under a feeder light. I would have to "guesstimate" and too often I was unsure of my shot. Feeder is out 100 yards and has a Green Kill Light on it controlled by a motion detector. This scope sucks in light and holds zero perfectly. The V-brite reticle set on 1 is perfect for making these shots. I mounted it on a Marlin 336 in 30-30 with high 30mm rings. This is my first Vortex scope and I'm sure my next will be a Vortex too.Pros: tough, accurate, and reliableCons: a tad heavy

Optics Planet has good products at great prices. The Vortex Crossfire II 3-12×56 AO Hog Hunter is just what I need for pigs on deer lease. The lighted reticle lets me hunt hogs late and deer early morning and late evening. The price plus coupon made this a no brainer on a good quality Vortex scope. The only thing that could have made this scope better for me would be BDC. But not having it was not a deal breaker. Give this scope a try especially if you have a coupon.
