You can't call it cheap, because it's not. Budget friendly for sure. If you want a nice optic that works, this is the one. Mounted fast, easy adjustment. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice middle of the road optic. With lifetime guarantee, you can't go wrong.

I purchased a red dot for my PCC however with my eyesight at 50 yards the dot looked like an 8 MOA, good for getting hitting the target but not for accuracy. Upgraded to the Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x and I can get a much more accurate sight downrange.

I love this scope so much i purchased two others for my two AR's and one for my 308. Great for CQB because of throw lever and 1×8 power. Multi use in an affordable platform for close in to beyond 300m targets. Love it!

I have multiple Vortex rifle scops but have always leaned toward the Razor line because I was unsure of the quality of the Strike Eagle line. After purchasing this scope I decided to purchase a couple more just like it. I started by using this optic on my Henry X 45-70. I shoot this rifle suppressed and unsuppressed with multiple 45-70 loads. Most are around the 400 gr load which has a significant snap. The optic has held up and not lost zero. After having success with this scope I decided to purchase a couple more. This is a great scope for the price. I can purchase multiple of these for the price of a Razor and I have been using them to outfit rifles that are no "precision shooters". I am currently using this optic on my Henry X 45-70, Marlin Dark 30-30, and Ruger 350 Legend. The one power is very clear and even under daylight conditions, I have been able to see the lighted reticle without issues. The throw lever is smooth and with the integrated throw level knob switching between different powers is simple. If you are looking for a good quality rifle scope that won't break the bank…This one is a winner in my book.

Really like the Vortex Strike Eagle. The center dot can be hard to pick up on at times (my eyes are the issue) but I frame the target in the half circle halo and I am good to go! Really helps me get on target quickly for timed competition shooting. Also like the magnification as for smaller plate targets out to 75 yds can be hard for me pick up on properly as my prior red dot would cover the plate completely at those distances.Very happy with this scope. Bought another after I bought this one.

On my hunting rifles, have Leupold scopes, all the ARs have vortex scopes. I believe the vortex optics are as good as, if not better, than my other optics. I mounted this on a Ruger SFAR. Perfect combination. My home range is out to 150 yards, and the neighbor has a range out to 400 yards and the Vortex has proven to be just perfect at these ranges on this rifle. My friends that have looked through the scope have had nothing but positive comments. One, a retired SWAT officer, said he he really liked the reticle.
