I was pleasantly surprised when I received this. Very nice quality, easy to mount and operate. Allows you to change from red to green dot and adjust the brightness. Also able to use with front tower sight. My 65 year old eyes just won’t let me see down iron sights. This did the trick. My only negative is it’s made in China. But now days what isn’t?. Forgot to add this allows you to easily aim with both eyes open.

Got this for the woman's AR and she loves it. Controls are a little clunky as it seems you have to mash the buttons rather heavily. Mounting was a cinch and the cantilever mount seems solid. Started sighting in at 50 yards and couldn't hit paper and ended up starting at 15yds and moving back as we brought it in. The sight was nowhere near center. Overall adjustment out of the box was 10" up & 4" right @ 50yds. We called it close enough after sighting in to a 2" grouping. Having the red and green dot is a nice addition. I would recommend this optic to anyone looking for a good 1x sight.

I have 2 of these Vortex Strikefire II 1x30mm 4 MOA Red Dot Sights on my AR-15 builds, have been shooting at the range and out in the field. I paired them up with Monstrum 3x filp sights, and I have not had to zero them back after the initial zero sighting in was done. They are well made, have work very well in rain or hot weather.You cannot go wrong using the Vortex Strikefire Red Dot, very impressed and will continue to purchase for my next AR builds.
