Typical steel Rifle Scope Mounting Rings in this class use only 2 screws per ring, have a narrower clamping band and in most cases only absorb recoil in the front ring. Maxima Fixed Scope rings utilize 4 T-15 Torx style socket cap screws for secure Rifle Scope optics mounting. The Maxima Permanently Attached series fit Weaver style cross slot bases and incorporate a Warne square stainless steel recoil control key in both the front and rear Scope Mounting rings. This ensures a “no slip” positive recoil surface across the entire slot of the Mounting Base and is capable of withstanding the heaviest of recoil. The Warne Maxima square recoil key also protects against swaging or peening of the base when used on softer or less durable materials. The Maxima PA rings band width is also substantially wider which offers more ring to scope clamping area to hold the Rifle Scope optics firmly in place. I got these for a CZ550FS rifle. These rings will fit a 19mm dove tail mount and hold a 1" scope tube. Had the scope and rings installed in 5min or less. Rings are good quality and sturdy. Scope holds zero. This fit my specific need, which was not the typical scope mount setup.

As always, Warne are the best! Can beat these strong steel rings. Great fit on my CZ550. Used the medium height to mount a Zeiss Conquest 4.5x14x44. Just enough clearance for the bolt and it got my scope closer to the barrel than the factory rings.

I have a CZ 550 308. It's a hard to find 20" barrel 308 and it kicks like a mule as a result. These rings haven't budged. They're holding onto a Leupold VX-3 2.5-8×36 scope which, if I'm honest, I'd like a little lower/closer to the barrel, but it's at a good height and the same height as any more "normal" 40 or 40mm objective scope would be in these rings anyway. I would say these rings seem a little heavy, but they are the best rings I could find for my CZ rifle by far. I bought them all, returned all but these. The design makes cinching them down while keeping the scope level a pain in the royal behind, but once you get it, you get it. Just make very sure you get your eye relief set up to your liking. I had second thoughts and had to do the process all over again. I think, also, that these rings look really nice. They look lean and aren't an eyesore distraction on the top of my classic rifle.

I used these rings to mount a Leupold 40mm scope to my CZ 550 .308 Varmint rifle. When possible, I always use Warne rings and was happy to find out Warne makes rings for the CZ 550. The rings are built like a tank, hold their zero and look nice as well.
