Used to mount a Nightforce 5-20power with 56 objective on a Ruger M77. Worked perfect.Scope had no problem getting a zero with rings. Obj does not touch barrel and used small riser on comb of stock.

I was a little hesitant about trying non-Ruger rings. I have always used the factory rings and had no problems with them. However, I wanted to mount a 30mm scope and needed to order new rings. I could not find Ruger rings in stock anywhere so decided to try these. First off, they were considerably cheaper than Ruger rings. Second, they are a little more attractive than factory Ruger rings. I ordered the lowest 30mm rings available which was medium height. They are pretty close to Ruger medium height rings. I encountered two things during mounting which requires a little attention. The recoil key is not attached to the rings, but is inserted into a slot at the bottom of the ring. You must make sure it is in place when putting the ring on the receiver, and make sure it stays in place when getting the key into the slot on the receiver. This is not difficult but is something you need to pay extra attention as opposed to mounting Ruger factory rings. The second thing I noticed is that the silver coating on the Maxima rings came off on my matte black scope during mounting. At first I thought the rings were scratching the scope, but the silver stuff wiped off the scope easily with a silicone gun cloth. No harm done. The next Maxima rings I use I will wipe the inside with a silicon cloth before mounting. Overall I am very happy with these rings. They look better that the Ruger rings mounted on the rifle and cost less into the bargain. I have always had good results with Warne bases and rings and found them very well designed and durable. I will definitely purchase these again.

Nice secure rings. Not a fault but these are thicker than regular Ruger rings. On a magnum length action a normal scope may not fit in between them. Check your scope dimensions carefully. Being three parts they can be a hand full to mount the first time

They are a bit heavy because they are steel, but a great design that is sturdy. The way they lock together and grab the mount is slick and easy to install. These mounts the are the best for the money for applications where DNZ'S are not available. This is my third set have never had them come loose or move the slightest.

Maxima Ruger Riflescope Rings for 30mm PA Ruger 77- medium height. Mounted a 30mm tube scope with a 50mm objective lens on a MKII-77 these rings will hold the scope off about 3/32 in. above a 1.2 in. straight barrel. I lapped the rings to see how close the manufacturing was and it was very close indeed. I don't think it needs to be lapped. For those that aren't used to Ruger rings, one ring, the taller of the two, goes on the rear. I have no idea how well they will hold but if they're anything like other Warne rings they should work just fine.
