I purchased these WARNE scope rings for a Sig Sauer Whiskey 3 3-9x 50 riflescope and I am very pleased that I did. The WARNE Mountain Tech scope rings are a two-tone color that matches perfectly with this Sig Sauer Whiskey3 riflescope's availability in a gray color. These WARNE scope rings are a high-quality product – they are well machined and ruggedly designed with four upper screw mounts plus a large hex head attachment screw which solidly secures each scope ring firmly attaching your riflescope to a standard Picatinny rail system on a rifle. During your initial scope installation, I would also recommend using some blue or red thread lock sealer (based upon your hunting application) for a securely mounted riflescope.

Finally someone made a picatinny ring that doesn't look like it belongs on an assault rifle. These rings are very well made, light, and very have a smooth contour. They went on perfectly and seem strong, as well as light. There are other good rings out there, and I won't say these are better, but they do offer an alternative to the old style military look of picatinny rings. I know I would not hesitate to buy another set. Good engineering job by Warne.

Application for these was a rail on a Barrett Fieldcraft. Solid & well built, I have no complaints about their performance thus far. The threads for both the crossbar & upper halves of the rings seemed pretty gritty. I flushed everything with a little spray gun cleaner, followed by air and a wipe down then a drop of light oil and that improved things. Cleaned them again and applied a drop of blue loctite, installed, and all’s been good since. Reason for a 4 star vs 5 was due to their cost I felt that these should be ready to use out of the box with perhaps only lapping being necessary.

Solid rings, great price, tight tolerance for max precision. I bought these to run on a lightweight hunting rig. They work great, super solid, and strong. I will definitely go with these on my other rifles when I’m in the market.

-These Mountain Tech rings from Warne are some of the best in the biz! They are very light in weight, have extremely tight machining tolerances and their fit and finish is outstanding. On top of those attributes; they are made in the USA by an American owned and operated company.Follow the torque specs when installing and you will have a trouble free set up that will last a lifetime!
