EOTech XPS2 Transverse Holographic Red Dot Sight is the non-Holographic Red Dot Sights-compatible version of the Eotech Transverse XPS 3. This Red Dot Sight made by EOTech is even smaller than the popular EOTech 550 HoloSight, making it compact enough to bring anywhere and mount on small-frame weapons, like short-barreled rifles and AR pistols. The EOTech Transverse XPS 2 Sight runs on a single battery, with a longer battery life than previous HOLO sight models. With the new single battery configuration, the Transverse XPS2 allows for more rail space than ever, leaving more room for rear iron sights or a night vision mount. Plus, it is smaller and lighter than other options, and with the three reticle options, you can quickly acquire, track, and switch targets. Reticle Options EOTECH’s unique reticle patterns are a criti- cal to delivering fast target acquisition and MOA accuracy at any range. EOTECH reticles feature a 68 MOA ring surrounding a 1 MOA center dot allowing the shooter to quickly pick up and lock on a target. EOTECH One Dot Reticle Our most popular reticle offered, the 68 MOA ring with 1 MOA dot provides three usable aiming points. The aiming points above are based on the following load: .223 cal. 62 gr. 2,900 vel. When using other loads and calibers, the opera- tor will have to establish the ranges associated with the aiming points. When using a shotgun, the 68 MOA ring can be used to represent shot patterns but will vary based on choke and shell selection. For ordering this reticle, the model codes will end in -0. Range Estimation with Unmagnified HWS The standard ring found in most reticles equates to approximately 68″ (5’8″) at 100 yards. Brightness Options The XPS2™ HWS offers multiple brightness settings with both Standard and Night Vision modes offering quick adjustability to accommodate any shooting situation. Great HWS! What can I say its an Eotech,Premium optic-Premium price but worth it when SHTF. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND.Like the subsonic and supersonic dots.Tried both rounds and it is accurate for drop at least for up 200 yards from my range.

Love the sight, it is great quality. However, the XPS 2-0 in FDE description says it includes a QD mount, however, it does not. Mine has a thumb screw. It still locks up tight and doesn't move, however, just something to note. I believe optics planet screwed up the description.

Perfect for someone with a astigmatism, no blurring like you get with a red dot. Holds zero doesn’t take up a lot of room on the rail, love it. I got the non quick release model, I think it’s a little bit lighter.

Great optic for the price, size and dependability. I only run either EOTech or Trijicon, because of the battlefield proven dependability of the products, even though I have no intentions of putting my optic through those same scenarios it is nice to know it will stand up to the abuse. EOTech holographic or the Trijicon ACOG, which have different use cases and therefore pros and cons of each. The EOTech HWS is my go-to optic for a close quarters rifle setup, with the optionality to add the magnifier either 3x or 5x magnification if needed, while still having a quick readily visible HWS optic window. The clarity of the optic itself is not top tier nowadays compared to some other companies, but I still think for the price and dependability it’s a top tier choice for certain scenarios.

The XPS2 1 is my new favorite red dot. I finally picked up this unit after running tube style red dots for years and having the extra FOV is a welcome change. I held off on the EXPS line because I wasn't a fan of the circle dot reticles. Of course you can get good with anything with practice, but since running two gun all summer with the humidity and sweat here in the mid Atlantic having the larger window and dealing with foggy, sweaty eye pro made it much easier to acquire targets that blend in with the environment at extended ranges.

Very easy to set up. Worked on my Weaver rail, which was a plus. I also used the laser bore sighter which helped with getting it to zero. Just keep both eyes open and look for targets was alot of fun the next day at the range.Pros: better than expectedCons: none
