GG&G FLT Scope Mount is specially designed to fit the increasingly popular Special Purpose Rifle (SPR). The GGG FLT Scope Mount With 30mm Integral Rings is designed to accommodate the rifle scopes most often used on SPR rifles, a 30mm low powered variable optic placed forward on the AR-15/M16 flattop receiver. This scope mount is designed to allow forward scope mounting; the GG&G SPR Scope Mount places your scope about 1-1/2″ further forward than the standard GG&G Scope Mount. The GG&G FLT Mount is lightweight, weighing in at only 5.5 ounces, with a low profile that allows excellent cheek weld when mounted to the AR-15/M16 flattop upper receiver. The mount is manufactured from 6061 T6 aluminum and Type III hard anodized matte black to mil-spec. This GG&G Scope Base is available in two configurations to provide flexibility to the end user: GGG-1383: GGG FLT Accucam Quick Detach Scope Mount – for those shooters requiring the ability to quickly remove or install their scope with 1/2 MOA repeatability. The scope can quickly be installed on a dovetail rail in seconds by rotating the Accucam Lever to the locked position and can just as quickly be removed by rotating the Accucam Cam Lever to the unlocked position. Unlike other QD lever systems, it is fully adjustable to fit Weaver and MIL-STD-1913 dovetails, even those that are worn or out-of-spec. The ergonomic finger loop of the lever is easily operated, even with a gloved hand, and the round design is virtually snag proof. The Accucam mechanism is manufactured from solid billet 4140 steel. The QD FLT is not recommended for .50BMG or lightweight machine guns. GGG-1384: GG&G Bolt On FLT Mount – Semi-permanent bolt on installation, using a standard squeeze rail configuration side bar and 1/2″ hex nuts. So far so good on the mount, it’s a very light but heavy built mount. Haven’t had too much time behind it and for the price and what I had found on other reviews these mounts are top notch. The directions are very useful, they have all the torque specifications for the mount as a whole. I ended up paring up a athlon talos btr ffp with these rings and worked perfectly fine for the long turret section. I did lap the rings just to be sure everything was going to fit properly and that everything was in line.

I have been using mounts by GG&G for over a decade now. Between my time on active duty (still serving in the reserves) and my current law enforcement career, these mounts secure any optic they are attached to without fail. You will never have to worry about MOA accuracy with these. I have trusted my life with GG&G mounts many times and they have never failed.

I bought this because I wanted a scope mount with a single detach lever and I wanted it to be a little slimmer than the two lever models this one really delivers and it has a nice large thumb hole in the handle so you can get it Loose even with gloves on. it's tight well made and it locks up like a vault door. I like it and it does exactly what it is supposed to

Was impressed with seeing all GG&G's stuff at SHOT show time and time again so I made the plunge on this mount. Well build, heavy duty construction and can be adjusted for mount holding retention. Some companies make good mounts but this is the only 1 piece I will buy for my tactical rifles.

I purchased this mount after watching a YouTube review by C_DOES and he highly recommended it. It’s very well made with great machining and the steel thread inserts are a great touch. Initially, it would not mount on a standard pic rail but a quick call to the excellent customer service team in Arizona helped me resolve the issue. The cross bolts/bars are press fit into the mount and they were installed upside down. I tapped them out with a mallet, reinstalled them correctly, and the mount went on without a hitch. Highly recommend this as a solid value, American made, one piece scope mount.

I wanted a QD mount for a 1-6 LPVO on my mightweight recce rifle, and had heard good things about the FLT, the only drawback being the size of the cam on the QD sticking out so far… and it does. Beyond the charging handle and evem beyond the illumination dial on the scope itself. Unfortunately, when using the QD version slung across my back, the cam digs into my lower left aside… no bueno.Aside from this, the QD FLT is an excellent mount and an excellent value… by and large the BEST QD mechanism I've tried. I just wish the QD were on the oppisite (right) side of the mount as then it would be covered by the shell deflector and forward assist. Not good on the left.I havent decided yet, but I'll likely go with the bolt on version to save weight on the rifle. I would use the QD on something with a larger scope (SPR), but for a Recce with an LPVO i dont think the QD is fitting in this brand.
