This is by far my favorite reflex sight. I have a eotech also and would buy this over the eotech everytime. The wash out is real but if you get the light that goes on the side, it fixes that issue with ease!

Awesome sight! My favorite by far. Like it better than my eotech. If you get it be sure to get the m21 add on light. It will take care of the washout in bright lights! Perfect for home defense. Zeros easy on my 11.5 bcm pistol

I'll have to say Optics Planet has some of the best deals out there. Their free shipping is somewhat different and very slow, so not paying the extra $ for a legitimate delivery company was my lessons learned from this purchase. Other than that, this is a great optic. The reticles on these are not as bright as my ACOGS, but it costs a 1/4 the price and works perfectly.

Mounted right onto flattop without adjustment, throw levers locked down smooth. Reticle cowitnesses to front post sight and Magpul rear. Reticle clear and sufficiently bright. Could have done without the “OP MOD” lettering on the side. Have yet to take it to the range to sight it in but everything seems good to go! Nice not having batteries and on/off switches.

I took a Trijicon ACOG off my Tavor X95, and replaced it with the Meprolight M21, and I believe this works a little better on several levels. First, it gives the rifle a more correct/ original profile (go IDF !!!). Next, with the 1x power M21, I can co-witness the Tavor’s flip up iron sights (which also contain Tritium), with the ACOG 4x power prism optic, I had to use 45 degree offset BUIS. The quick detachment feature is nice, and the optic remains solid under fire. It’s hard to believe that it’s 2023 and nearly all illuminated optics still REQUIRE a battery to operate, so this M21 with “no battery needed” technology is a huge plus! I did buy the battery powered LED add on accessory, but I haven’t needed to use it……maybe if it’s a dark / overcast day, and the target was in a well lit / bright area, then maybe. I love the OPMOD HC reticle, it’s great for distance shots as well as CQB….. and it was much cheaper too! I did spring for the polarizer / klllflash….but now, the included scope coat doesn’t fit anymore. I highly recommend this quality, combat proven military optic.

Overall I am very satisfied with the optic. Glass is clear and it illuminates well at night. My only issue is the hexagon outline of the red dot was much smaller than I anticipated. I am used to a Eotech Halo with the circle/ dot and the circle is much larger. Although Mepro states the sight comes pre sighted for an AR platform my sight shot 2’ low at 50 yards but was able to be adjusted correctly. Windage was set almost perfect. I remove and reinstalled and the sight maintained zero so this was good. Construction seems to be heavy duty for the housing. If you are considering the HC aiming setup you should look thru one first before buying. I would biy one again but would go back to the circle/ dot aiming setup.
