Nice, sturdy picatinny style rail that comes with an Allen wrench, and it fits perfectly! It features a channel that you can see the front sight under your optic, although you shouldn't try that with the Shockwave. I'm very glad to have found this. Thanks NcStar!

This item was very easy to install and was exactly what I was looking for to bring my optics to the perfect height. I'm cross eye dominant and have a severe eye injury, making it tough to focus. The riser allows me to find red dot easier and focus I n on target.

Bought this rail because it was aluminum, less than 8.00$ and it specifically for mossberg 500/590. Allen head screws provided with wrench. Perfect fit and excellent quality low center channel can use open sights under laser mount. Used it on wife’s 410 shockwave now she has no problem shooting from hip and being dead � on. Thanks NcStar and Optics Planet. I bought 3. Now I think the 22 will get a flashlight for skunkin and who knows what else.

Great deal, good fit, does the job. I’ve thought about how well a reflex red dot type sight would work on my 590 Mossberg. Your mount allowed me to achieve this. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to up their speed and target acquisition.

The rail was perfect fit for the factory drilled holes. Looks good on gun,and I can still see the front sight with the red dot off,now for some range time! If it works out I might break more clays and hopefully eat more doves and ducks. Time will tell.

This thing is great If you’re trying to mount a laser , light, or optic to you’re shotgun. I love it on my shockwave for a laser so I can shoot from the hip. Just be careful taking out your original screws. You can easily strip them
