The Independence Mount is a cantilever 30mm ring mount for rifle scopes using the AR-15 or other MSR platforms. The offset, forward reaching parapet works best for flat-top rifles assembled with a Picatinny or Weaver rail. The parapet allows for your scope to be mounted in a forward position, maximizing both your head position and eye relief on AR style platforms. It is tough and sturdy and is built to lock down eradicate any movement or wobble between both the mount and the rail, and the mount and the rings. I recently ordered a Swampfox scope and this scope mount. I purchased it for use with a AR15 build. When it was ordered they were out of stock so a week and a half it was shipped. Unboxing, I was pleasently surprised. Well packaged, nice fit and finished. As it turned out I also aquiered an Atibal 4-14×44 Apex. I got that for an AR10. I hadn't gotten a mount for it yet so when the Swampfox mount came it I mached it up with the Atibal scope to check the fit. It was a great fit with that combination as well as the Swampfox Arrowhead 1-10. I promptly ordered another Swampfox mount for that build as well. To be perfectly honest this was my first ever cantilever mount. I always had reservations on adding what seemed to me as somehow less strong.The cantilever offset was to me a possible weak link. The Swampfox mount was much less expensive and besides, Opticsplanet as well as Swampfox have great return and warranty so I thought, why not order one and see. Swampfox made a believer out of me. I would happily order a third and recommend this mount for a 30mm tube scope on another AR build. I would like to see a 10 moa and 20 moa option as well possibly an additional height option. I will know for sure once the second mount is put on the AR10 and the distance stretched out. So that's just an opinion at this point.

Works very well! installed in minutes with a torck wrench using 15lb on top screws and 30lb on pic mount.looks great on my fostec 300aac blackout! I can't wait for the price of ammo to come down so I can afford putting some serious rounds down range.

Rock solid mount I've rolled around beat it through the woods and covered it in spray paint, it's stayed solid and zeroed.for the price you won't hear me complaining it's made me take notice of swamp fox as a viable reliable option to the overpriced only crew

I purchased this for my Swampfox Independence LPVO and am please as to how secure this mount is. I even took it off the rail and after remounting it, found that I did not lose my zero at all. The unit is well made and very durable. I just leave my LPVO attached and mount it when I want to use it instead of my Red Dot.
