This thing is BEEFY. It’s also light. I’ve heard complaints of it wobbling but I honestly can’t notice hardly if any wobble on it at all. I put an Eotech 512 on it, it fits, but if you want to use the back up iron peep sight, it will not fit without modification. To make the peep sight fit all I did was press the front of the peep sight against a belt sander and take just about 1/8 of an inch off.

Ordered this part for my M70 zavasta, all the pieces are well made. Easy to install. The only issue was the actual dust cover was just a tad long, bust out the grinder shave just a tiny tiny bit off and boom No wiggle, folds up nice. EoTech mounted right up. Took 5 min to get it right. No complaints

I have a bit of a hard to find yugo AK. It is a milled receiver, zastava m64 underfolder. I wanted to be able to mount a scope. Adding a dovetail style mount to my gun was not an option because it is not compatible with the underfolding stock. After asking numerous experts and doing a lot of research, I wasn’t sure if this would fit a milled gun. Well it fits perfectly and locks up tight with virtually no wiggle. Is there some wiggle? Yes, because it is a top cover mount. I haven’t mounted scope yet, but I did get the tws peep sight. Looks great, transformed how the gun looks and sights. My gun is not painted, it has a dark matte finish and the tws mount finish is very close. I’m not sure what the exact finish is on my gun- it was rebuilt/ refinished by definitive arms.

I got it in and was able to install it in under 20 minutes and i was moving sloooow. Awesome upgrade if you're looking for something besides a gas tube mount or a side rail. I was worried about movement at the hinge but there is absolutely zero movement when its closed. I've put about 100 rnds on it today to zero the optic (25 yrds) and check for POI shifts when opening and closing the cover but with 3 points of contact, everything seems solid. Won't know for sure until its put under a bit of stress and with a few more rounds from further distance but for now it gets a 5/5 from me. Plus i got free 2 day shipping from OP so that's always a plus.

– ZASTAVA M70 ZPAP#1 recommended modification.Easy install. the clearance holes that hold the pin in the trunnion were a very tight tolerance. i had to fiddle around with it to make it fit through and hold the hinge in. The cover release button is a little hard to push in to lift the dog leg rail. But i bought a ALG spring with dead coils so that might help in my case.All around a good product,If the Russians use this. I will too.
