Mounted these bases on a Steyr Pro Hunter .308 Win. I chose a Picatinny rail style mount for this rifle because I am on the small side and eye relief can be a challenge with other mounts that don't offer the flexibility of ring placement. I am using Burris Signature Zee rings. I initially purchased a competitors less expensive, but quality product, but with the design of the Steyr bolt, the bolt just clipped the eyepiece on the scope. In addition, the other base was a bit long in the front and the objective just touched the scope objective. The Trijicon bases solved both problems by being a few millimeters higher and considerably shorter. The holes lined up perfectly, the bases mounted easily and appear to fit well. They are precisely machined and solid. They are a bit on the heavy side. I gave them 4 stars for two reasons. First, I have yet to fire the rifle as it is full on winter in northern Vermont. Second, the torque specs were not included in the packaging or on the Trijicon website. I called and emailed Trijicon and got two different answers, both of which were reasonable. The customer service rep, I believe, had to contact the company that makes these for Trijicon to get the info. This annoyance aside, I am pleased thus far.
