Found the new Trijicon RMRcc online at opticsplanet and 2 days later in my hands! I had just learned about the new RMRcc that just came out. I was looking forward to having one for my older eyes the have a hard time with regular site pictures. Thought it would be months until I could have one. That all changed thanks to opticsplanet!

This optic has not disappointed, quality, workmanship, functionality, and durability are all attributes of Trijicon and this little optic has lived up to these standards. The downside of this optic on the Hellcat Pro is the height, after mounting the RMRcc with the required adapter plate, the optic sits higher that the rear dovetail iron site, making the iron sites inoperable. It’s an either or proposition. Some might say having a red dot on a concealed carry is overkill or cumbersome; however, I find it great for quick target acquisition supporting more precise shots. Another great product from Trijicon.

This is my first red dot on a handgun. I’m still getting use to it. I found it hard to find the red dot but with more training I’m sure I will pick it up. I put it on my CANiK SFX mete and it was a direct fit no adapter plate need. I do find it hard to work the controls on the side and I wish you didn’t have to remove the cc to change the battery. Still I’m glad I got it.

I’m simply writing this review to help others with their decision making process. I bout the RMRcc for my Springfield hellcat because I love my RMR type 2 that I put on my Canik. However, the RMRcc does not fit the Springfield Hellcat. The Holosun 507k with an adapter plate is the way to go.

Great clarity of the dot and roundness. I have astigmatisms in both eyes so not all dots are round. The only problem I had was I had to order a separate mount plate as the foot print isn’t the same as the original RMR.
