When I purchased my AR 10, there was no other scope I wanted to mount on it but this one. Fit and finish fantastic. Illuminated and easily adjustable. The only thing I would want differently is the color. Worth every penny, and with Vortex's lifetime warranty comes piece of mind. You can't go wrong, so pull the proverbial trigger and get this scope!

The quality of glass on this scope exceeded my expectations and this is coming from someone who looks through high-end leica/wild heerbrugg glass all day every day. The image quality from edge to edge is nice and flat and the color is very accurate. The turrets, turret height, reticle and illumination are well thought out and executed.The zeroing method is a little more involved than most scopes but is very stable once set. Make sure that you check the turret set screws for tightness after a few shots once you set your initial zero because they tend to loosen up. After a few sessions and checking the tightness on the set screw, they do not move any more. It would be helpful if Vortex would publish a torque value for the turret set screws. Vortex recommends no more than 15-17 inch/lb (dry) on scope ring tops or damage to the scope body and erector assembly can occur (this seems a little delicate to me). I've set mine at 17 inch/lbs. and seems to be holding fine in 34mm Ken Farrell low rings. Tracking seems to be repeatable and stable but Ive only dialed 2 mils up and down so far to date.This scope is worth the extra money over my Bushnell ERS and I will probably get the 4.5-27 version for my next rifle.

This scope is a little heavy, as everyone is aware, but the glass is absolutely fantastic. I am a big fan of the thin reticle lines that are criticized by some. The zero process was different than I was used to, but once done I see the elegance of the approach. No elevation range wasted on getting a zero, so I get full effective range for attempting more insanely long range shots with VX.Highly recommend this scope.

It is a FFP and comes with a tactical style reticle, available in MOA or MRAD. It is a heavy scope, solidly built.

I did a trade on a vortex razor gen 1 5-20-50 35 mm tube and was worried because it was pretty bet up scope but glass was perfect but I sent it back to vortex and they said it was in good working condition and got it back and have had no issues there great scopes I have 6 vortex scopes and there all great scopes the only problem I have our enemy China is making them don’t like it and hopefully it changes soon
