Cali hunter –
Nice rugged texture. Like that it come with a bino cross chest pouch. Glass is good and clear. So far great product is up to what is rated. Would recommend for anyone who is looking for new bino or upgrade.

The Vortex Vipers are clear edge to edge The eye cup for glasses or no glasses is mechanical so unlike the rubber roll up caps they should actually last. The locking focus ring on the right eye is wonderful, the notches that lock the ring are close enough that any adjustment stays as put when locked down. Size and weight are perfect. Add this to the lifetime warranty how could you miss buying the Viper I have the 12X50 and have found I can see much more then with a competitors 20X50.

These were a gift to my son who hunts. He appreciates their brightness and clarity for scanning for wildlife. He also found them excellent for planet and star watching. He was pleased that they don't feel too heavy.

Excellent binocular. I have a number of binoculars/spotting scopes including Leica, Swarovski, Razor HD. Mechanically, fit & finish, these are right up there. Focus wonderfully smooth, steady, eyecups very nice, etc. Optically, I am very impressed at this price point. The FOV for a 12x is pretty good, and the eye relief is also pretty good, yet edge performance is still decent. Not top of the line decent, but very good till you get to about 10%. And center performance is in my subjective opionion as good as the top of the line binoculars. Very sharp, very nice color rendition, and I have yet to notice any chromatic abberation. There is diminishing returns as the price goes up with binoculars, and these (for me) strike a very good balance of price to performance. I also like that they weigh in at less than 30 ounces, and are very comfortable to hold, partly due to their light weight but also the ergonomic grooves on the barrel.

Really nice optics smaller than I expected I really like the size and weight. Not heavy at all
Darv –
Sharp and comfortable to view distant objects. Superior optics compared to 8 power Leopold binoculars I have previously purchased. Arrived quickly. I would recommend these for hunters or wildlife viewers. I use them on fire lookout for 15 mile visibility
