Great product and well worth the money. Arrived quickly and was a perfect fit. Scope fit nicely and has been holding up well. Use some blue locktite when installing small allen screws into action to ensure that everything remains secure.

Fits beautifully and allows for way better optic placement, also looks allot better than the stick mounts, highly recommend! Took only a few minutes to install, used a little thread locker and that’s all there is to it.

Excellent fit to the rifle. Used it with a Vortex Diamond Back 3-9 x 40 on my daughters Axis II Rifle. The medium height rings supplied by Vortex with the rifle were not high enough to allow the objective bell to clear the lugs on this mount limiting my ability to position the scope for eye relief, but I blame that on the rings, Mount is a typical solid weaver mount.

Fast shipping to my door- allowed me to mount my new scope and get on the bench! Factory bases only give one option on ring spacing. This gives many more options for spacing. Will always have one handy for any more axis rifles bought.

If you are trying to mount a scope on a Savage Axis, I would highly recommend this base. Adding a multi-slotted base to a rifle makes mounting the scope much easier, especially on a long action rifle like the Axis. I would not want to use any other system. Don't let the low price fool you. This is a quality base that is just as good as any of the other brands.Be aware that the base comes with two different length screws. The two long screws go in the rear closest to your eye when aiming. The two short screws go up front near the barrel.Pros: Good low profile. Adds flexibility when mounting a scope.Cons: Flathead screws, but not that big of a deal.
