Wish I bought a model that fits on the rail instead. This top ring matches my NF scope color, but not the NF steel ring set. Steel rings are an off-black / charcoal. This top ring is deep black like the scope. Tightening the rings while trying to keep the level parallel to the rail is not extremely difficult, but wish I had a separate level not integrated on the ring set. Make sure you match the part number you need using the NF website to get the correct model number on the OP website, because the OP website has vague descriptions and incorrect photos between the various NF ring parts.

Not too much to say it's a top half of the ring with a level. Works fine, install was interesting though. I never installed the normal top half, but I did install the accessory mount on my front ring. While the accessory mount when tight closed the cap between the top and bottom almost completely the level half did not, when tight there's still a decent gap. This meant that I had to be very careful to slowly tighten it while keeping it, the scope, and the rifle level. Sounds like a pain in the butt right, it kinda was, took some time. However I could see a perfect reason for them making it like that. If for some reason the mount itself wasn't level one could still make the level well level by putting it a little crooked on the mount, actually rather smart of NF I think.Need to mention price, NF stuff is expensive there's certainly cheaper levels that work fine. My only reason for buying this one was to minimize extra's by using it with the NF mount. If I wasn't using a NF mount for other reasons I'd never have paid for this. Also it appears NF won't let anyone list it for less then MSRP, these suckers are the same price everywhere. However I was prompted to call Optics Planet and they gave me a significant discount. So they're easily the best price on NF products I'm aware of, give them a call.

For the money the package should include the Angle Degree Indicator (ADI), or at least the bottom half of the mount as well…Pros: Good durability.Cons: Top half of mount only and does not include the ADI as the picture shows.

Most misleading product placement I have ever seen. Item described was not even in picture listed. No disclaimers shown – bad customer service attitude and even worse management attitude. All this "kit" contains is a cheap keyfob lens cloth with NightForce' logo. None of the pictured items like cleaning solution, lensbrush or larger cleaning cloths were with this item. All OpticsPlanet wants to do is to give a "discount on your next order" They know that you will not go to the trouble to return and $8.00 item and they have the most misleading website ever. I will take my hat off to them – they technically "got me". You have to really look for it, but they state the item as "starting at $8.00". I cannot in good conscience recommend that anyone risk a purchase from OpticsPlanet. If you must, be sure to have your legal counsel standing by to go over the fine print and disclaimers. Shame on you Optics Planet – you got me this time, but I will NEVER make this mistake again.Pros: Absolutely noneCons: Wrong product, bad customer service attitude, the list goes on – buyer beware

Most compact level ever. No issues with this product. I have used several different scope levels in the past but this level is easy to install and is never in the way of bolting or feeding the rifle
